This Privacy Statement applies to all data collection services and data collected by Wallrust software and services. The Privacy Statement does not apply to those Wallrust services and products that do not link to or display this statement, or that have privacy statements of their own.
The collection of your personal information through Wallrust websites and services will entail you providing personal information, such as your phone number, personal identification number (PIN), email address, last name, first name, or user name. If you so choose to make a purchase or sign up for a paid Wallrust subscription service, we will ask for additional information, such as your credit card number and billing address. While Wallrust will not store this information, it will allow hired professional merchant services to process it. These professional merchant services are required to maintain the confidentiality of the information and are strictly prohibited from using it for any other purpose.
Information Collected Upon Registration:
In order to access some Wallrust services, you will be asked to sign in with your phone number, username, or email which we refer to as your "ID". By signing in on one Wallrust service, you may automatically sign into other Wallrust services. Even if we receive your permission to upload personal information (eg: share your information with friend) from your address book, the only information that gets uploaded is phone numbers; no names, email addresses, addresses or any other type of personal information gets uploaded.
We do not upload any information from your address book unless we received your permission.
While you choose to share any information with us you always own all of your information and we do not share this information unless we received your permission; or removed any can be used to identify you. We may collect device-specific information (device/hardware type, operating system version, etc.) and we may associate your device identifiers with your registered IDs. We also may collect device event information (software/hardware settings, crashes, etc.) and address book specific information (such as number of contacts) to provide you innovative features/services and for solely statistical purposes. We never store such kind of information without removing your phone number(s), IDs and other personally identifying information from it.
If we have a good-faith belief we will share personal information with companies, organizations, or individuals outside of Wallrust, Inc. and grant further accesses to this information if it is necessary to be able to detect fraud and security issues; meet any applicable law, regulations or enforceable governmental request.
Our services are primarily designed to help you share information about your presence status with your friends and colleagues. Most of the information you provide to us is information you are asking us to share with your authorized friends. This includes not only your call status, but the time zone you are currently in, GPS location, the precise time at your current location, a mood message and many other bits of information. None of the information you share with your authorized friends is ever shared with those who you did not authorize.
Your trust is important to us. You may choose to share your location with your friends. If you turn on location sharing, we may put it together with other location information we have about you, and we do not save location information associated with your registered phone number(s) unless we removed your phone number(s), IDs and other personally identifying information from it. You can control your location sharing settings on an individual update basis.
When you delete an ID, it is permanently deleted from our database unless that ID has multiple devices associated with it. In this case, only the data associated with that particular device will be deleted. In this case, your ID will be permanently deleted from our database only if you delete the same ID from all of the associated devices.
Wallrust may collect information about your interaction with Wallrust sites and services. We may use website analytics tools on our site to retrieve information from your browser, including the site you came from, the search engine that guided you, the keywords you used to find our site, or the pages you viewed within our site. We may also collect information about the pages you view, the links you click, and other actions you take on our sites and services.
In order to offer a more consistent and personalized experience throughout your interaction with Wallrust, information collected through one Wallrust service may be combined with information obtained through other Wallrust services.
Personal Information collected by Wallrust services may be stored and processed in the United States of America or any other country in which Wallrust maintains facilities. Except as described in this statement, we will not disclose your personal information to any third party outside of Wallrust without your consent.
Wallrust is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and methods to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We store the specific information you provide (e.g. registration ID) on the computer systems in encrypted format with strictly limited access. We do not store any thirdparties' IDs (e.g. friends. phone numbers) that you provide in any format. We use encryption such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or HTTP with SSL protocol (HTTPS) to transmit information over the Global Computer Network. Your chat communication is private and end-to-end encrypted. With end-to-end encryption your messages are secured so only you and the contact you're communicating with can read them and nobody in between, not even us.
You should never share your ID with anyone else. If you are sharing a computer or a portable device with anyone, you should always close the application before leaving a site or service to protect access to your information.
Wallrust may use HTTP cookies to enable you to sign in to our services and help personalize your online experience. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies and you can modify your browser settings to decline cookies by default.
Law and Harm:
We may disclose your information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protects Wallrust.s rights or property.
Non-Private or Non Personal Information:
We may share or disclose aggregated or otherwise non-personal information, such as usage patterns.
Modifying Your Personal Information:
If you are a registered user of our Services, we provide you with tools to access or modify the personal information you provided to us and associated with your account.
Our Policy Towards Children:
Our Services are not directed to people under 13. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child.s account.
Changes to this Policy:
We will occasionally update this Privacy Statement to reflect changes in our services and we will provide the last update date on the top of the statement. The most current version of the policy will always be available at http://www.caret.co/privacy/
